South Korean rapper, Psy, has performed his hit song "Gangnam Style" in front of 80,000 fans in Seoul.
The rapper held the free concert to thank fans for their support
during his rise to global fame. Psy’s song, "Gangnam Style," became
famous when its on-line music video was watched by over 300 million
people around the world. Since then, it has become the first Asian song
to top the British music charts and has ranked number two on the US
Billboard.
The Seoul Metropolitan City Government allowed the South Korean
singer the use of the City Hall Square as the venue for the concert. It
also extended the operation of all public transportation until 2 am to
accommodate all those who had gathered to watch the show.
